A fan of "Law and Order: SUV" asked rapper Ice-T, who stars in the show, about the pandemic guidelines that would be employed in the coming season as filming recently kicked off.
Following the resumption of filming "Law and Order: SUV," a viewer of the series asked Ice-T if the stars would be wearing masks while filming. The rapper and actor replied on Twitter:
"Not actually wearing mask in full scenes, or you'd never see us talk... But you will sometimes see us remove them."

Executive Producer Mariska Hargitay was one of the first to express her gratitude that the show was back on the road once again after joining the rest of the entertainment industry in halting productions due to the pandemic.
The actress shared photos of the cast while they were having a virtual table read for the season's pilot episode. Hargitay also shared photos of the cast and crew on the first day of filming. All of the people present in the photo were seen wearing masks while waiting in a hallway.
As the show kicked off, the production was reportedly expected to explore the effects of the pandemic.

They intended to reflect on how the pandemic affected New York, the city in which the show is based. The show's producers had even more great news for their loyal viewers: they had succeeded in securing continuous renewals through the 24th season.
