Ceaser Emanuel, a star of “Black Ink Crew” on VH1, has been let off from the program after a video reportedly showing him assaulting canines surfaced.
Local law enforcement agencies and Fulton County Animal Services are looking into Black Ink Crew member Ceaser Emanuel based on allegations that he mistreated canines.
This comes after an upsetting video of the 43-year-old actor, captured by a Ring doorbell camera, recently surfaced online, showing him kicking and striking his dog with a folding chair.
According to Emanuel’s explanation in the video, his crazy behavior was an attempt to stop his dogs from fighting violently.
According to his agent, Emanuel was ‘questioned‘ by authorities about the event.
The tattooist’s representative stated that investigators discovered his dog to be “safe, healthy, and exhibit no evidence of mistreatment.”
‘Even though his acts were totally inappropriate, Ceasar is sorry and feels terrible.’ The spokesman informed the site of his dread and the melancholy result of receiving death threats.
Emanuel described it as a period in time that he wished he could take back in an interview with TMZ earlier this week before adding that he came home and witnessed his dogs biting one other.
The reality star recounted, ‘I don’t mean like the ordinary just play fighting, I mean, they were reaching for one other’s necks, basically attempting to kill each other. He admitted to being nervous and scared as he attempted to back the dog down and defuse the dog’s altercation.’
He said, ‘Not once was I attempting to hurt this dog. All I was attempting was to get him back in the cage.’
He acknowledged that what he had done was a mistake and revealed that he had given one of the dogs away to a buddy.
Due to the recording, Emanuel was let off from the VH1 show Black Ink Crew on Thursday.
A network representative informed TMZ, ‘We have decided to terminate connections with Ceaser Emanuel from Black Ink Crew New York. Since the next season was nearly finished in production, so this decision will not affect the next season.
While production is nearing its conclusion, insiders with the show have stated that the issue will be covered in the show.
The video received criticism
The clip outraged the show’s producers; a source informed the site.
Donna Lombardi, who hosts the program, posted the video and said, ‘I don’t even get into the lives of this man, but this video made me so upset on it.’
I hope the public sees you as the monster you are, @ceaserblackink, she continued.
“If you can treat a dog like this,” Lombardi remarked, “it shows how sick of a person you truly are.”
Everyone must be held accountable, Lombardi continued. I CAN’T CHANGE THIS STORY!
According to Emanuel’s lawyer Walter Mosley, ‘the video is old and was filmed at his apartment in Atlanta during COVID lockdown, thus there is no police participation in the matter.’
