Lindy Duncan was born on 16th January 1991 in Plantation, Florida. She grew up with her loving and caring parents, David Duncan, her father, and Debbie Beckett her mother. Lindy has a younger sister by the name of Casey. She was introduced to golf by her father at a very young age.

At 9, she started playing golf and participating in LPGA tournaments. Lindy Duncan had her education from American Heritage High School and is based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She chose Duke University for her further education and played for the women’s golf team there.

Duncan used to play many golf games presenting the U.S. She had participated in the summer games in 2009. She qualified for the U.S. Open and had her participation for the fourth time at the U.S. Women’s Amateur. She was the third ACC golfer to win both titles, i.e., player and Rookie of the Year. Lindy is the sixth player in the history of Duke University who made the first-team All-America.

2011 Summer: Lindy Duncan participated at U.S. Open with rounds of 70, 78, 76, and 76 and finished with the 59th position.

2012 Summer: She was selected for the Curtis Cup to be played from the side of the U.S. She competed in the LPGA Jamie Farr Toledo Classic but missed the cut with rounds of 77, 71.
