The  actress looked as chic as could be in an off-white overcoat over a black turtleneck sweater, while Dakota opted for an all-black ensemble, featuring a blouse with pants and a coat.

The comedy – which will premiere on The Roku Channel on April 21 – is executive produced by Dakota's production company, TeaTime Pictures.

While the mother-daughter pair are close, like every parent-child dynamic, there are a few gripes, one of which Dakota, 33, opened up about on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The star called out her famous mom for sharing throwbacks of her on social media. "I don't like it, but I also don't go on social media, so I don't find out about it until it's really baked into the Internet, and somebody will send it to me like, 'Oh, you were so ugly — or you were so cute, when you had braces and a slicked back ponytail'," she said.
