He stated that the transphobic comments that he has seen are “starting to piss him off” and that the videos that spewed hate towards Chris are absurd. He also affirmed his friendship with Chris and confirmed that nothing has changed between them.

Yeah, this is getting absurd. Chris isn’t my “nightmare” he’s my fucken friend and things are fine. All this transphobia is starting to piss me off

The video in question criticized Chris for “showing more feminine traits” and argued that his transition would “damage” MrBeast’s brand. As of writing, the video generated over 2 million views in under 18 hours. Fans called out the creator of the video, SunnyV2, for making Chris’ transition sound like it was a “business decision” and making it seem like Chris isn’t a real person anymore but just an “over the top LGBT character.”

I absolutely hated this SunnyV2 video, it's awful that he called Chris an "over the top LGBTQ character" and how he acts like Chris's transition is a business decision to have representation is crazy.

This is horrible to say about a real person. pic.twitter.com/XA1MVXFiqt

i've never fully been into SunnyV2's commentary style but this video really bugged me

he boils down Chris's transition to a business decision, specifically how it affects MrBeast's brand – sure I guess you could say it's a neutral point of view but it just feels… inhumane? pic.twitter.com/ecuv8dtvMg

sunnyv2 might have just made the worst commentary video ever, he referenced movies adding "over the top lgbt characters" which is so irrelevant considering Chris is a *real* person pic.twitter.com/bTwjRmRbK0

Fucking Disgusting

News flash asshole, this isn’t some ‘WACKY’ TV show that needs to change shit up, these are ACTUAL PEOPLE. Real life human beings

Get your parasocial ass out of whatever shithole basement you live in SunnyV2, and for everyone leave these folk the fuck alone. pic.twitter.com/R2HNB5lSqr

Ever since Chris opened up about his transition, he has received both support and hate from MrBeast’s fans. Some of the hate he has received argued that his son would “lose a father figure” after it was revealed that he got a divorce. Chris replied to this criticism, stating that he’s going to be a great parent and that his son is fine with having him around.

I know I’m going to be a great parent, and so is every other person who puts the love of their child before everything. I made this decision because I wanted to show up as my best and happiest self for him. In a way, this way FOR Tucker 💜

Ever since he came out, MrBeast, along with other content creators and YouTube themselves, have all declared their support via social media. Hopefully, more people will be open to Chris’ transition as he appears more in new MrBeast videos.
